Abdullah EREN
Abdullah Eren was born on 1984 in Istanbul. He received his bachelor's degree in Department of Sociology from Boğaziçi University and his master's degree in Department of Diplomatic Studies from the University of London-Westminster
Abdullah Eren, who took on various senior positions in the private sector, served as the Chief Advisor to the President after serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister and the Advisor to the Prime Minister.
By the Presidential Decree dated 27 October 2018, Abdullah Eren was appointed as the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities.
During his term as President of YTB, the population of Turkish diaspora living in abroad has reached 7 million. He pioneered the conduct of programs on cognates and kin communities, which spread over a wide basin from the Balkans to Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East and North Africa, and which also contained elements of Ottoman remnants and international students from all over the world who are studying in Türkiye.
Eren, who is closely interested in civil society activities, has taken active roles in NGOs working on the Balkans.
Abdullah Eren, who was re-appointed to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities with the Presidential Decision dated 11.08.2023, speaks fluent English, is married and has 2 children.
