Cooperation Between Türkiye and Tanzania for Higher Education and Diaspora
Cuma, Nisan 19, 2024The Republic of Türkiye and the United Republic of Tanzania entered into 6 agreements over promotion and facilitation of investments, higher education, archives, and higher education scholarship.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Samia Suluhu, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, in an official ceremony. The ceremony was followed by private and inter-delegations talks. Then, the Republic of Türkiye and the United Republic of Tanzania entered into 6 agreements over promotion and facilitation of investments, higher education, archives, and higher education scholarship.
The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and some organizations of the United Republic of Tanzania signed into 3 agreements over higher education and diaspora.
YTB President Abdullah Eren and Minister of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar Lela Muhamed Mussa entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Higher Education Scholarship. Later on, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Higher Education Scholarship was signed by and between the Presidency and the Ministry of National Education, Science, and Technology of Tanzania. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by YTB President Eren and January Yusuf Makamba, Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation. The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Diaspora Policies was signed by and between YTB President Eren and Makamba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania.
