EREN: “As Türkiye, We Are Always With Our Citizens”

Recently, supporters of the separatist terrorist organization PKK/YPG attacked Turkish Airlines passengers at France's Charles De Gaulle Airport. The incident took place in the area where Turkish Airlines passengers took their luggage and exited customs after getting off the plane. Discussions began after PKK sympathizers chanted slogans against President Erdoğan and used provocative language. Later, these people targeted Turkish citizens. Turkish citizens were injured during the attack.

Following the incident, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) Abdullah Eren made a statement and strongly condemned the attack. Eren said the following in his statement: “I strongly condemn the attacks on our citizens by supporters of the separatist terrorist organization PKK/YPG at France's Charles De Gaulle Airport. I convey my condolences to our citizens who were injured in the attack. As Türkiye, we always stand by our citizens.”
