Eren Congratulates Emir Kır, The Mayor Of Saint-Josse, On His Victory Once Again

President of YTB, Abdullah Eren, congratulated Emir Kır, the Mayor of Saint-Josse in the Brussels region, on his victory in the repeated elections.
In the local elections held in Belgium on October 13, Emir Kır, the current Mayor of Saint-Josse Municipality in the capital Brussels region, emerged victorious from the ballot box, and after the objections made, the court decided to renew the elections on the grounds that the procedures related to a small number of votes cast by proxy were incomplete. The result did not change in the repeated election. Kır achieved victory again by increasing his votes even more. YTB President Abdullah Eren also congratulated Kır with a message.
YTB President Abdullah Eren extended his congratulations in a message, emphasizing that Emir Kır’s re-election symbolizes the strong integration of the Turkish diaspora in Europe and its growing influence in local politics. Eren, who wished Mayor Kır and his team success in their new term, continued his message as follows:
"We are witnessing one of the most remarkable manifestations of the struggle, determination, and hopes of our first-generation elders who took their first steps in Belgium in 1964 as they migrated to Europe. The journey that began in those years is not only a remembrance of the past but also transforming into the foundation of a strong society for today and the future. One of the most meaningful examples of this struggle is the success of Mr. Emir Kır, who has been re-elected as the Mayor of Saint-Josse, reaffirming the trust placed in him. He is a strong symbol of the Turkish diaspora’s integration in Europe and its influence in local politics. On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate Mr. Emir Kır, who has once again earned the trust of the people of Saint-Josse, along with his esteemed team, and I wish them success in their new term."
