The historic building built in 1912, restored in Aleppo under the leadership of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), has opened its doors as the "Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center." The center offers a new living space for the youth of the region through art, education, and psychosocial support activities.

A new milestone has been added to the efforts aimed at healing the wounds of war and strengthening cultural ties in Syria. The historic mansion in Aleppo, built in 1912, has been revitalized through the cooperation of YTB, the Bülbülzade Foundation, and benevolent donors. Operating under the name "Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center," the facility has been put at the service of the local people and youth.

Youth and Art Meet in a Historical Atmosphere

The center, intended to reflect the warmth of Anatolia and a climate of brotherhood, has been transformed into a fully equipped living space. Within the scope of the center's furnishing, furniture, electronic equipment, painting materials for art workshops, and musical instruments were provided.

Versatile Education and Rehabilitation Support

The Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center aims to support the post-war recovery process of the local population. In this context, vocational training programs, Turkish and Arabic language courses, art workshops, and sports activities will be organized at the center. Furthermore, psychosocial support and counseling services will be provided in line with the needs of the region, contributing to social rehabilitation.

YTB President Turus: "What Matters is Filling These Walls with Life"

Evaluating the opening, Abdulhadi Turus, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), emphasized that while they preserve historical heritage, they also prepare the youth for the future. Stating that the center was designed with the warmth of an "Anatolia House," Turus noted the following:

"We have transformed this historic structure in Aleppo, an ancient city of our civilization, into a home that bears the warmth of Anatolia in its name and our brotherhood in its foundation. This precious mansion, built in 1912, now reflects the energy of youth by leaving the traces of war behind, thanks to the support of our Presidency and the contributions of the Bülbülzade Foundation and donors. For us, what matters is filling these stone walls with life. Today, in this 'Anatolia House,' we have bright young people painting, playing instruments, and learning Turkish. I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed."
