With the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the second issue of Her Boydan magazine, prepared by international students, was launched in Istanbul.

The launch event of Her Boydan, a cultural, literary, and intellectual magazine that brings together international students with an interest and talent in the Turkish language and literature, took place in Istanbul. Her Boydan was established to provide a platform where international students can think in Turkish, write in Turkish, and contribute to the language and literature. While bringing international students together under the roof of the Turkish language, the magazine also encourages potential aspiring writers.

The 2nd Issue Launch Program was held at the YTB Istanbul Office with the participation of many international students studying in Turkey. The event aimed to strengthen cultural and literary interaction and to expand the magazine’s reach to a wider audience.

Speaking at the event, YTB Corporate Publications Coordinator and Editor-in-Chief of Her Boydan, Ali Işık, shared insights about the magazine’s work.

Emphasizing their goal of integrating international students into the literary platform, Işık stated that they launched Her Boydan with the participation of international students, publishing its first issue four months ago.

He noted that the first issue focused on “Gaza: Meaning and Resistance”, while the second issue was published with the theme “Turkish: A World Language.”

During the program, international students presented poetry recitations.

At the end of the event, participants were gifted the latest issue of Her Boydan magazine.
