Protocol on Cooperation for International Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools Signed by the Ministry of National Education, YTB, and TDV

The protocol covers the selection of international students, Turkish language education, academic processes, as well as health, transportation, and social and cultural integration services. Within the scope of the protocol, various activities will be carried out to support the educational processes and social adaptation of international students studying at Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools. Long-standing cooperation among the institutions will be further strengthened to enhance students’ academic and cultural development.

YTB President Abdulhadi Turus emphasized that YTB’s long-standing experience with international students would play a key role in effectively implementing the project: “At YTB, we have been running educational and cultural programs for many years to strengthen the ties between our young people across different countries and Türkiye. This experience will support the academic, social, and cultural integration processes of students within the International Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools Project.”

Turus also underlined the significant contributions of the Ministry of National Education’s expertise in educational policy and TDV’s long-established experience in cultural and educational services: “Our joint efforts, supported by MEB’s expertise and TDV’s extensive experience, will create a strong support network for the educational and social integration processes of the students.”

Director General of Religious Education Dr. Ahmet İşleyen highlighted the importance of the protocol, stating: “May the signatures we have put today be beneficial for the students coming from 95 countries, for the Century of Türkiye vision, and for our geography of the heart.”

Signatures at the Ceremony
The cooperation protocol was signed by YTB President Abdulhadi Turus, MEB Director General for Religious Education Dr. Ahmet İşleyen, and TDV Director General İzani Turan. The ceremony was also attended by YTB Vice President Murat Kazancı, MEB Directorate General for Religious Education Head of Education Policies Department Mustafa Yıldız, and TDV Director of Education and Cultural Services Esen Sezen Kılıç.
