Within the scope of the YTB Talks organized by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara met with participants at our Presidency. In the talk titled “The Heritage of Anatolia,” the historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage of Anatolia was addressed through a broad geographical perspective.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara explained the bonds of culture and wisdom (irfan) across the shared geography of hearts extending from Bukhara to Bursa, from Bosnia to Skopje, and from Damascus to Kosovo. In the speech bridging the past and the present, light was shed on the depths of our shared history through the cities that gave spirit to this geography, the prominent figures who left their marks, works, and centers of science and wisdom.

Drawing attention to the fact that Anatolia is not merely a geography, but one of the important centers of a strong civilization of culture and heart that connects different cities and societies, Kara emphasized the importance of passing our shared history and cultural heritage on to future generations.
Tracing the footprints of a wide basin of civilization stretching from Bukhara to Bursa, and from Bosnia to Cairo, the talk offered participants the opportunity to look at the historical accumulation of Anatolia and the geography of hearts from a different perspective.

The program concluded following Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara's evaluations and questions from the participants. After the talk, Kara signed his book titled “The Heritage of Anatolia” , published by YTB Publications.
