"Türkiye did not only provide us with academic knowledge; it added value to our mindset and worldview. The years we spent there were a transformative period in our lives," Şerif said, noting that the discipline and vision she gained in Türkiye are invaluable to her.
Reminding the audience of the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between Türkiye and Libya, Şerif added:
"As Türkiye alumni, it is our responsibility to strengthen these bonds, create new collaborations, and develop projects that will contribute to the future of both countries. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s motto, 'The world is bigger than five,' is a powerful symbol of the search for a fair international order and inspires us to take responsibility on a global scale."

Concluding her speech, Şerif thanked President Erdoğan, YTB, and all contributing institutions, wishing for the lasting friendship between Türkiye and Libya and continued solidarity among Türkiye Alumni.
