Türkiye Scholarships 2026 Applications Are Now Open

Türkiye Scholarships, which has an important position in international student mobility, received a total of 125,668 applications from 171 countries in 2025. This intense interest revealed that Türkiye has become a center of attraction in the field of education on a global scale.

​A promotional event was organized at YTB in Ankara within the scope of Türkiye Scholarships 2026 applications. Speaking at the event, YTB President Abdulhadi Turus emphasized that the program carries a vision beyond being only an academic scholarship. Stating that the cultural diversity emerging with the coming together of students from different countries is a wealth, Turus said, “International students are not just students for us; they are in the position of the hope of their own societies when they return to their countries.”

​Expressing that the goal of building a conscientious world lies at the foundation of Türkiye’s global education policy, Turus said that Türkiye Scholarships is carried out with an understanding aimed at strengthening human values.

​Türkiye Scholarships stands out among scholarship programs worldwide with the comprehensive opportunities it offers. Within the scope of the program, university and department placement, monthly stipend, university tuition, health insurance, dormitory and housing support are provided to students. In addition, free vocational and academic programs and round-trip flight ticket opportunities are also included in the scholarship.

​2026 Türkiye Scholarships applications will be received between the dates of January 10 – February 20, 2026. Applications will be open to candidates who want to receive education at the associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
