Youth in the Balkans to Gather with Culture and History Agenda

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) is organizing the "Balkan History and Culture Academy" program to contribute to the culture, art and history units of young people from cognates and related communities in the Balkans. The program will be held in Ohrid, North Macedonia between 27 June - 1 July 2022 in Turkish. 30 participants can benefit from the program, accommodation and transportation expenses will be covered by YTB. Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the program. Candidates will be selected and invited to the program after an evaluation by YTB. Participants will be given various courses on 18 topics in the fields of history, culture and art.

Candidates between the ages of 18-35 who are citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Greece and residing in these countries will be able to benefit from the program. Candidates who will apply for the program must submit a document proving that they speak Turkish to YTB.  Participants will be selected among candidates who have previously worked in the field of history and culture.

Application Deadline: June 13, 2022

The deadline for application to the program has been set as June 13, 2022. Candidates must fill out the application form on www.ytb.gov.tr/guncel/balkan-tarih-ve-kultur-akademisi and send it to tarihakademisi@ytb.gov.tr until this date.
