The return journey of citizens living abroad, who traveled to Turkey by road to spent their holidays in their homeland continues. Abdullah Eren, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities, visited Kapıkule and Pazarkule border gates and saw the citizens off at the border.

YTB welcomes the citizens who come to their hometowns by land during the holiday seasons at the border gates in Turkey and abroad and does not leave them alone on their way back. Eren met with citizens at Kapıkule and Pazarkule border gates, listened to their demands and then saw them off. Eren also visited the customs area at Kapıkule Border Gate and wished the citizens a safe journey. Eren also visited the YTB booths set up for Turks abroad at the border gate, examined the work on site and offered treats to the citizens. Eren said that the summer months are a precious period for citizens living abroad as it marks the end of homesickness and the reunion with family and friends.

Stating that it is time for citizens living abroad to return, Eren said, “I wish a safe and peaceful journey to all our citizens who will return home from their hometowns. Hope to see you again next year.”

"As in previous years, the YTB stands at the border gates continue to serve our citizens throughout the day this year as they do every year. To keep them informed about relevant regulations and help them make the most of available services, informative publications prepared by YTB for citizens living abroad are available at the stands. Additionally, YTB staff are in one-to-one contact with our citizens, providing information about the activities carried out by the Presidency for Turks Abroad."

"We don't forget our little citizens during their return journeys either. The “Yol Arkadaşım”  Turkish book, prepared by YTB, along with TÜBİTAK's “Meraklı Minik” and “Bilim Teknik” magazines, are also being made available at the stands for those interested."
