Applications In Progress for YTB’s Human and Social Development Research Support Program

The applications for the year 2024 are still in progress under the Human and Social Development Research Support Program, abbreviated as BESKAP and announced by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities to back any scientific research by cognate and related communities.

BESKAP is intended to back any scientific research carried out by cognate and related communities of Türkiye.

Master’s degree and PhD students in the dissertation phase and post-doctoral researchers are eligible for the Support Program. In addition, any scientific study to be carried out by Türkiye Alumni, who have returned to their homeland, in line with the objectives of the program and what they would like to study.

“Historical and Cultural Inventory Reviews”, “Law and Human Rights”, “Education and Rights to Native Language”, “Civil Society Studies”, “Media Studies”, “Sociological, Anthropological, and Demographic Studies”, and “Türkiye Alumni” have been designated as themes for which BESKAP offers support in 2024. Studies to be carried out by researchers are expected to be unique and innovative.

Transportation, accommodation, and inclusion fees to arise from international field studies and scientific events to be attended by researchers eligible to be a beneficiary of BESKAP following the review of their applications shall be covered by the program to the extent of upper limits. Additionally, YTB may cover designing, printing, and online dissemination costs for the publication of studies by beneficiaries to the extent of upper limits.
