Diplomats from Around the World Met in Turkish

YTB ​​offers the opportunity to learn Turkish language and culture to public officials, diplomats, academics and researchers from all over the world with the Turkish Communication Program for Public Officials and Academicians (KATİP). The program also strengthens the ties between Türkiye and the participants' countries.  KATİP participants also have the opportunity to experience enriching experiences such as seminars given by well-known educators in their field, cultural trips to various regions of Turkey, workshops examining Turkish arts, traditional sports activities and institutional visits.

In the 2024-2025 period, 19 participants from 18 countries were eligible to take part in the program. The participants also visited YTB and met YTB President Abdullah Eren.

 

Stating that this year's training has started within the scope of KATİP, Eren stated that 195 participants from 81 different countries had the opportunity to learn Turkish between 2014-2024. Wishing the participants a productive and enjoyable learning process full of Turkish language and culture, Eren said, "Turkish language and culture training is aimed at the public officials, diplomats, academics and researchers we host in Turkey from various countries within the scope of the Turkish Communication Program for Public Officials and Academicians (KATİP). Our training has started. Between 2014 and 2024, we provided the opportunity for 195 participants from 81 different countries to learn Turkish. We started our 2024-2025 program by hosting 19 participants from 18 countries. I wish our participants a productive and enjoyable learning process filled with Turkish language and culture," he said.
