What is TEKNOFEST?

TEKNOFEST is Türkiye’s first and single aviation, space and technology festival organized with the cooperation of many institutions that play a critical role in the development of national technology in Türkiye. The festival is led by Turkish Technology Foundation (Turkish Technology Team) and Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

The first TEKNOFEST was organized in 2018. The aim of TEKNOFEST is to increase the society’s, especially the youth’s interest in technology and raise awareness to turn Türkiye into a country producing national technology.

This year, TEKNOFEST will take place from October 2nd to 6th, 2024 at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport. The organization will host air shows, science shows, TEKNOFEST discovery games, simulation fields and workshops. There will also be activity stands owned by shareholders and sponsors as well as exhibitions, shows and concerts that young people will follow with a great interest.

Since 2018 our Presidency has supported the participation of young Turkish people living abroad in TEKNOFEST to foster their ties with the homeland. If you want to be a part of TEKNOFEST and participate in the activities, you can apply to TEKNOFEST 2024 Adana.  

What are the application criteria?

1.     To be a Turkish citizen/ to hold a blue card or to be entitled the right to own a blue card

2.     To be a student in Aviation, Space and Engineering departments abroad, to have graduated from these departments, to work in these fields or to show that you have a great interest in these fields

3.    To complete your secondary education abroad

4.      To be in the 18-35 age group (To be born before 02.10.2006 and after 02.10.1989)

5.     To apply from other countries in addition to the USA, Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, England, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Norway and to meet the application criteria

What are the Opportunities the Participants will Enjoy?

·         Their accommodation fees will be covered during the festival as they stay in Adana.

·         They will be transferred from their hotels to the festival.

·         The students and those who graduated in the 2023-2024 academic year will be paid transportation fees up to 150 Euros.

When will the Program Take Place?

The program will take place between October 2 and 6, 2024. The participants will arrive in Adana on October 2, 2024 and leave for their countries as of October 7, 2024.
