Students from the Turkic World and Asian Countries Gather at the Iftar Table

Perşembe, Mart 6, 2025

As part of the “International Student Iftars” organized by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), students from the Turkic World and Asian countries came together at a shared iftar table.

The “International Student Iftars”, a traditional event hosted by YTB, continue to bring students from all around the world together this year. The first iftar gathering was held with the participation of students from the Turkic World and Asian countries. The program began with a recitation from the Qur'an, followed by cultural stands introducing various countries from the Turkic and Asian regions. At these stands, traditional dishes were served, and cultural attire was showcased.  The iftar event, attended by 600 international students, will continue with the participation of students from the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans.
Speaking at the event, YTB Vice President Murat Kazancı highlighted that the gathering allowed students to get to know each other and their cultures more closely. Emphasizing that the event truly reflected the spirit of Ramadan, Kazancı stated:  "Our student brothers and sisters have the opportunity to explore cultural elements from different countries. This is very important for us. In fact, this event embodies the essence of Ramadan, strengthening the bonds of friendship among nations."

The program concluded with a family photo session.
