April 1 - June 15, 2024

Making great efforts to sprout the seeds of the Turkish language, ancient culture, tradition of indulgence and wisdom beyond their homeland for over half a century, the young and dynamic Turkish diaspora has had a lot to offer in many aspects to both the communities of the countries they reside in and to their homeland that they have always maintained their emotional ties with. The young members of the Turkish diaspora, who co-exist in harmony with the communities of the countries they reside in, especially in Western Europe, across the world, are responsive and responsible individuals, and through their active involvement in social life and their active and entrepreneurial spirit, they are invaluable human treasures for both Türkiye and the countries they reside in.

In this sense, the young members of the Turkish diaspora have been able to make up for differences in language, culture, traditions, and lifestyles without being deprived of their identity, reinforcing multiculturalism with versatility. Promoting the social, cultural, educational, sports, and distinctive works carried out by the youth in the countries they reside in, helping them put their ideas into practice, and sharing their hopes for the future is a matter that the Presidency puts a premium on.  Based on this perspective, the Presidency has rolled out a Youth Support Program to safeguard the native language and look out for the cultural heritage of the youth, who are the guardians of the Turkish presence abroad and the next generation to run the international relations, and to make visible their efforts acknowledged and respected by the countries they reside in, and to promote new ideas, and improve their current actions, and boost the interaction and cooperation networks among the Turkish youngsters in various countries.

The program is intended to promote projects by Turkish youth to lead to positive changes in the countries they reside in, to develop a sphere of influence about their actions in civil society, to add to their career development with educational support programs in aspects they need, and to facilitate their access to new opportunities to implement their horizon-expanding views. To this end, the Youth Support Program, which has been developed as part of the Presidency’s mission of reinforcing leadership, entrepreneurship, and advocacy skills, raising awareness about social responsibility, and improving domestic and global friendship of the young Turkish diaspora, will promote promising innovative ideas.
