YTB Invites Young People from Around the World to Teknofest

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) carries out studies every year for the participation of citizens living abroad in TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which plays a critical role in the development of national technology in Turkey. In this context, this year's support program was announced by YTB to ensure the participation of young people abroad in TEKNOFEST, which will be held in Samsun between 30 August-4 September 2022.

Thanks to the support program prepared, young citizens living all over the world will take their place in TEKNOFEST. Young people who will participate in the festival will have the opportunity to get to know technology companies closely. In addition, they will have the chance to participate in many activities such as air shows, technology competitions, seminars on technology agenda, promotional stands and interviews.

Transportation and Accommodation Support from YTB

As a result of the evaluation to be made within the scope of the applications, the accommodation of the candidates who are entitled to participate in the program will be covered by YTB in Samsun during the festival. In addition, transfer transportation from the accommodation to the festival area every morning and from the festival area to the accommodation every evening will also be provided by YTB. Apart from these, participants who graduated in the 2021-2022 academic year and participants who are currently students will be provided with transportation support up to 150 Euros, provided that they document this situation.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates who have completed 18 years of age as of 30.08.2022 and have not completed 30 years of age will be able to benefit from the support program to which citizens of the Republic of Turkey or Blue Card holders can apply. Having completed secondary education abroad is also among the application requirements.

Those who study, graduate, have expertise in the field of aviation, space and engineering sciences abroad, or who document their interest and engagement in these fields will be able to benefit from this program. Candidates without an official document must submit a motivation letter indicating their interest in these fields. The application of those who have previously participated in one of the TEKNOFEST programs organized by YTB will not be accepted.
