YTB President Eren: "Necessary Legal Measures Should Be Taken Against the Actions"

Abdullah Eren, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), harshly condemned the attempt to burn the Holy Quran in front of Türkiye's Copenhagen Embassy and said, "I invite the Danish authorities to take the necessary legal measures against such despicable acts of Islamophobia and to ensure that similar provocations are not repeated."

Abdullah Eren, President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), made a written statement regarding the attempt to burn the Holy Quran in front of Türkiye's Embassy in Copenhagen. Addressing the Danish authorities, Eren pointed out that the necessary legal measures should be taken urgently against despicable acts of Islamophobia.

Stating that this consciously provocative action is a clear attack against the sacred values ​​of more than 2 billion Muslims, Eren said:


“I regretfully condemn the attempt to burn the Holy Quran in front of our Embassy in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. This consciously provocative action is against freedom of religion, freedom of expression and fundamental human rights, and is a clear attack against the religion of Islam and the sacred values ​​of more than 2 billion Muslims around the world. I invite the Danish authorities to take the necessary legal measures against such despicable acts of Islamophobia and to ensure that similar provocations are not repeated. It should not be forgotten that the Holy Quran is under the protection of Allah until the Day of Judgment and no disrespectful act will overshadow its greatness!”
