Young Turks Abroad Intern at TUSAŞ, HAVELSAN, and ROKETSAN through YTB sponsorship

TAI, ROKETSAN, and HAVELSAN are intended to help young Turkish people abroad gain experience in engineering, software and technology in cooperation with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. TAI, ROKETSAN, and HAVELSAN are touted as the leading companies in Aerospace Industry, Command Control and Defence Technologies, Information and Communication Technologies, Rocket and Missile Systems in Türkiye. YTB Türkiye Internship is now open for applications for you to get to know the companies better and gain engineering experience.

Applications for internship to be held in summertime are now open for young talents who were born and raised abroad and who are Turkish nationals or hold dual citizenships or a blue card, who currently pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in any engineering faculties of universities or who have recently graduated. 

YTB sponsors Turkish youth to serve as an intern for TAI, ROKETSAN, and HAVELSAN in an effort to improve the relations of the young people abroad with their homeland, to promote their educational career and professional development and to develop cooperation between Türkiye and other countries in education. If you are interested in interning for engineering and software and joining the activities on site, then you are free to apply for the YTB Türkiye Internship.

 

 

BENEFITS FOR INTERNS

 ·         Following an assessment of applications, the interns eligible to join the programme shall be provided with accommodation in Ankara over the period of their internship.

- A shuttle shall be provided between the site of   accommodation and the internship venue.  

- Interns shall be provided with a flight ticket sponsorship worth up to a total of 200 Euros for return flight. 

- A daily earning shall be provided.

- Social and cultural events shall be organised by YTB throughout the period of internship.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 1.      Being a national of the Republic of Türkiye / holding a dual citizenship / Blue Card or being entitled to hold a Blue Card,

2.      Studying/just having studied in undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate departments of engineering in any university

3.      Residing abroad,

4.      Graduating from middle-school (high school) abroad,

5.      Being aged 18 to 35 (being born before 27.4.2006 and after 27.4.1989).

 

SCHEDULE

For this year’s edition, the internship dates are designated as two  terms for TAI (July 10, 2024 - August 7, 2024 / August 7, 2024 - September 3, 2024) and one term for ROKETSAN and HAVELSAN (July 10, 2024 - August 7, 2024). Candidates are required to select one of the internship dates made up of 2 different terms and their company preferences on the application screen.
